About our blended courses
Blended learning courses include an online portion followed by a hands-on skills session and reflect updated 2020 AHA Guidelines. Online learning allows you to complete training flexibly at your own pace wherever you have internet access, whether that’s at home or within the workplace. The hands-on portion includes a skills’ practice and a testing session conducted in person with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver® instructor.
Heartsaver® First Aid Online
Heartsaver® First Aid online is the e-learning portion of the Heartsaver® Blended Learning Course which has been updated to reflect the latest 2020 AHA guidelines. The Heartsaver® First Aid course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. On completion of the online component, participants must complete a hands-on session with an AHA instructor.

Heartsaver® CPR AED Online
Heartsaver® CPR AED online is the e-learning portion of the Heartsaver® Blended Learning Course which has been updated to reflect the latest 2020 AHA guidelines. On completion of the online component, participants must complete a hands-on session with an AHA instructor.

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED online is the e-learning portion of the Heartsaver® Blended Learning Course which has been updated to reflect the latest 2020 AHA guidelines. The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED programme trains participants to recognise and effectively manage first aid emergencies including bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock or cardiac arrest until professional help arrives. On completion of the online component, participants must complete a hands-on session with an AHA instructor.

Heartsaver® Paediatric First Aid CPR AED Online
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED online is the e-learning portion of the Heartsaver® Blended Learning Course which has been updated to reflect the latest 2020 AHA guidelines. The Heartsaver® Paediatric First Aid CPR/AED course teaches students the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency involving a child or infant until professional help arrives.

Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens’ E-Learning
The Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens’ course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
Heartcode® BLS
HeartCode® BLS is the AHA’s blended delivery method for the BLS course. Updated in line with new 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, the online portion features an adaptive algorithm which tailors each participant’s learning experience to promote mastery. Participants are trained to recognise cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, use an AED and manage foreign body airway obstruction in both facility or pre-hospital environments.

ASHI CPR AED for Adults
ASHI CPR and AED is designed specifically for laypeople and is an excellent choice for both community and workplace settings. The programme is ideal for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED such as teachers, community groups, childminders, babysitters, nannies, family, and friends.
